Attitudes can easily be seen in our BODY LANGUAGE through non-verbal communication.
Such things as facial expression, posture, eye contact, touch, and gestures. These can give others an idea of what we feel about some issue. And often they can give people the WRONG idea LOL.
Imagine three different people
– one keen,
– one average, and
– one who couldn’t care less
Without speaking, try to act out (or imagine) how their attitudes would come across at work.
What effect does it have on your work, and on yourself, when you feel:
bored? conscientious? angry? competitive?
Do you think that the TYPE of job you were doing would affect your attitude to it? Why?
What possible effect would these things have on your attitudes to your job:
- length of time at job
- workmates
- pay
- your love life
- your financial and or family commitments
- your health
Are different attitudes needed for different jobs? If so, can you give some examples?
