The Charter School Board Training program brings together all necessary components to fulfill the requirements mandated by the Minnesota Department of Education.
If you are on the board of a charter school, then you know that the State of Minnesota requires that every charter school board member complete department-approved training in a number of areas ranging from board governance to employment policies. Our program is offered on campus in two different formats to accommodate your busy schedule, or we can bring all or part of the program to your school or other location, including Greater Minnesota, for a customized training.Convene with charter school board members and become: - Better equipped to build a healthy charter school board and face challenges as they arise
- Focused with an action plan and framework for growing and sustaining your board
- Renewed, excited, and ready to lead your charter school into the future
This program will not only help you meet the requirements put forth by the state, you will also have the opportunity to learn in an atmosphere that supports participants’ subject-matter mastery and leads to business excellence. Cost: $145 for the full-day or two-evening formats (both A and B), or take a single evening session (A or B) for $85. Includes tuition, learning material and refreshments. There are no prerequisites to enroll in this non-degree program. Pre-readings and resources are made available to all participants prior to the first module to maximize the learning experience.
